Some Frequently Asked Questions From Our Clients
Where are you located?
Our Studio is just an hour north of Sydney and 40 minutes south from Newcastle. This places us nicely between a number of city centres ready to jump off at your venue.
Do you shoot destination weddings?

Will there be a second shooter?
We can provide a second shooter at a cost, $700. We will at times bring an assistant to help with posing and styling. That will be free of charge
Can I extend the session on the day of?
Most of our wedding packages are unlimited times, those that are hourly packages can be extended at $250 for each full or part hour over the package limit as long as the photographer is available. Other photography sessions can be extended again subject to photographer availability and an agreed fee being paid.
What kind of gear do you use?
Nikon, all my equipment is professional and has redundancy automatically included so your images are safe and of the highest quality.
Do I have to order prints through you?
Absolutely not. You will receive all you images digitally or on optional USB and you can print to your hearts content. If you come back to us for prints though we will perform any photoshop editing requests free of charge on each print.
What is your style of Photography
Casual, Candid, Relaxed and Fun (so I’m told). I will guide you through your shoot so you receive the images you are after and still enjoy the whole experience.
Will my images be Edited?
Absolutely yes. All wedding and engagement images are edited and highlights have additional editing. All other Photography work is edited on a per image selection basis.
Do you really not Charge for Travel?
Correct, All eastern states of Australia and the West US incur NO travel charges, at all.
What happens after our Shoot?
I go home… 🙂 Then the work really begins. Firstly all your images are saved in three locations including offsite. We then “rough” edit them all and put them on our proofing site ready for you to comment and choose favorites. You will usually see your images 3 – 4 days after your event if not sooner.
Will you follow a shot list or it is more casual?
In a word, No. You are paying me for my creativity. If we were to focus on reading a shot list then we would be missing whats going on. We pride ourselves on capturing every moment of your day and shot lists just kill that flow. That being said, we are more than happy for you to send us some image ideas of the styling you would like. If you must have a shot list, provide us someone to follow us around for the day to work through your list. Shot lists are a must though for family photos!
What if you are sick on our day?
I have number of professional photographers who I will replace myself with at no charge to you. You will still be working through my studio after your day, its just the face that will be different.
